The Winnipeg Centennial Celebration
March 24, 25 & 26, 2006


The St. Boniface and Manitoba Sections are hosting a series of events
to commemorate the founding of the Alpine Club of Canada in Winnipeg
on March 27 and 28 of 1906.

Friday, March 24
Day:
The ACC Executive Committee Meeting.

Activities:
a) Historical 1906 Tour of Winnipeg
b) Tour of Modern-Day Winnipeg
c) Wall climbing at Vertical Adventures
d) Ice climbing at the St. Boniface Section’s ice climbing tower.

Centennial Reception at the historic Fort Gibraltar in St. Boniface. Cash bar.

Saturday, March 25
Day:
The ACC Board of Directors Meeting.

Activities:
a) Visit of the Manitoba Museum
b) Wall climbing
c) Ice climbing

Evening:
Centennial Gala Dinner at The Fort Garry Hotel
to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Alpine Club of Canada in Winnipeg.
The evening will include the inaugural presentation of “Elizabeth Parker and the Alpine Club”,
an interpretive play by Park Canada’s World Heritage Theatre.
Black tie optional. Cash bar.

Tickets:
Patron (acknowledged in the Program) $100 per person
Single ticket $70 per person

A maximum of 220 tickets are available
